Someone chose to make that a prerequisite, it didn't have to be. I think hiring a two time demoted defensive coach set back opportunity across the country. Louisiana was one of two at the time.

No D-1 program in any sport is going to hire a high school coach as a head coach, not even if Hud has become a deacon in his church.
