    Thanks for posting this JMV!

That interview with Coach Glasco was really good for any that want to hear from the horse's mouth. He was very impressed with our hitting in fallball with a couple of FR hitting over .500, if I caught that comment correctly (Davis & Griffin?). Can't recall have FR do that before.

He claims the incoming FR class is really good and will contribute this year. Also said having Lamb and Schorman out this fall due to injuries, allowed the other pitchers to get more work in. Karly Heath made good time of the extra pitching opportunity. Had 4 pitchers touching or nearly touching 70MPH. Really likes having a left handed spinner
in Riasetteo to change things up. Both Lamb and Schorman will be 100% by January.

Had high praise for the job Coach Robe did with the pitching staff. Had 500+ KO's for the season which was only the 4th time in program history to do that. He thinks Justin is a star pitching coach in the making.

He said our weaker schedule last year was planned due to the large number of FR we were planning to play (7 FR started 20 games). He didn't want to throw them at too many P5 programs so early in their college careers. But, this year, he's working on RPI and that means much stronger scheduling..."SEC like". Not sure of the total number of OOC games against P5's but looks like 15+ games.

Focus this fall was on shoring up our defense. We were top 20 in just about all pitching stats and top 10 in offense and stealing bases, but over 100 in defense. Need to improve our ability to throw base runners out at second. Working with 3 players at catcher.

I love hearing his excitement and honesty. Think it was 19 games vs p5 teams he said. throw in Troy, USA, TXST, and JMU and the schedule is non stop fun.

The OOC road schedule is brutal. This schedule will weather the team for post season play.

This is a perfect overview of what Glasco said. Just read it and you won't have to listen to it.

Looking forward to seeing the incoming freshman class. Hoping for a special season that culminates in a trip to world series. Hosting a regional would be key to achieving our goals. Having a tougher schedule will hopefully improve our RPI to put us in a position to host. Dare I dream, how about hosting a super regional?

Slick, thanks for the overview. No BS there. Hosting a regional and super regional is definitely in our sites at this time.

Did we just add the Florida Gators tournament or did I miss it on the previous schedule? Definitely going to make that trip with the crew.
