I thought you was at the football game?

They made some pretty tough calls going in drakes favor. I believe they were in the double bonus with 10 plus minutes left in the second half and we never hit the bonus. I think drake played a better game and overall were the better more polished team. In no way did they slap us around. A good team would have slapped us around by 40
I didn't. But c'mon M$M, that's getting dangerously close to "You don't donate. You can't complain" social club slang buddy.

I was just curious about the teams we've played so far. I saw we had a single digit RPI, which I know means nothing at this point, but it interested me. I was actually surprised at the wins of the programs we've played and how underwhelming they were.

    We are LOUISIANA

Also, great second-half adjustments by coach MARLIN against Drake , too bad the referees didn’t help too much
    Huh?

I was specifically speaking to the refs comment. There were 2 reasons we lost by 12. The refs sucked and three point shooting sucked more. It’s easy to look at the score and just make assumptions that we got slapped around. I get it cause I’ve done it before. If we could take those spurts where we play with our hair in fire and bottle that up, we would be a very good team. Unfortunately the only thing consistent about basketball over Bobby’s tenure has been inconsistency. Hopefully that changes soon.

We were down by 4 with 1:25 left in the game. They made all 6 of their free throws and a bucket to make it 12 at the end.

We missed our shots and that cost us.

This team is prettty good and deserves our support.

The refs were awful. But regardless of the refs had we hit our shots we would have won. We were down by single digits late in the game yet we were 4-23. Had we hit our average of 40%. That would have been another 27 points minimum. To just be tied with them we needed to make 4 more 3’s out of the 23 we shot.

I was only able to watch a few moments of the game in the first half so all I have to go by is the box score but I noticed that JB fouled out with only 5 points and didn't even play 30 minutes as he's been averaging in the upper 30's for most of the year in minutes. That would tell me that they probably doubled the hell out of him and forced other guys to try to make shots which just didn't go down all game. Any game where JB is held to that low of a score total and you shoot anywhere as bad as we did, I'm shocked we were there at the end.

Without Injury and getting back last year starter Kobi Julien I believe it's possible ..We will know alot when we play at Texas later this year . We should be 11-1 by that time

Kind of. JB got in foul trouble early in the 1st half and had to sit a good part of the end of the 1st. They were double teaming him and we just weren’t knocking down shots.

Richards played well as his replacement but he just isn’t JB. No knock on him most people aren’t.

It was the game he plan most teams with a quality big man will employ. Drake’s center was at Arkansas state last year and knows JB’s game and he is a solid player. Most teams we face won’t have a guy who physically can match up. Drake did. Even double teaming JB with smallerish players won’t work. But when you have a solid defensive big and the. Can double team him he will struggle unless we are hitting our 3’s. If that is the case we will win allot of games.
