CMD and CBN

The announcers mentioned during the game that these two are still in contact, and CMD reaches out to CBN as a mentor still. Does anyone here know if that’s correct or not? I would think it would be good for our program if true. Considering CMD has only been here, wouldn’t be great to be on bad terms with one of the only staffs he’s coached with.
