What he did yesterday only served not to disqualify him. It was certainly not enough to qualify him if he was not otherwise qualified to start this year.

Based on all 3 passes I saw last night he is a first round nfl talent for sure. Might be a first ballot hall of famer. Better than Brees and Brady for sure.

I agree with you that the QB position should be wide open again. I also believe there is a reason he did not play this year and that one series Saturday did not resolve it.

There is a reason he did not play this year. He is a pure freshman and simply was not ready. That does not mean he won't be ready next season. Coaches have been saying he is the future since the first QB club meeting of the year.

I’m sure every recruit is signed only because the coaches believe they are the future.

I’m also sure that each spring, they go into it hoping to fight for playing time at their position.

But when one comes in here and crowns a QB based upon one series of mop up duty in the last game of the regular season they should be checked.

He may be our future, but when that becomes a reality is surely a question mark. I presume we will have two seasoned QB’s coming back who will also be competing for the starting position.

All I can say is that the two posters here who say Zeon will play next year had no clue what he has played this year, along with the fact that those who decide who will play have not called upon him in a 6 and 6 season to play this year lends itself to not putting much credence in those opinions.

Would that not be the same as not knowing the difference between a defense that gives up over 40 pts a game and one that gives up less that 25 pts. a game? Just asking a fan that has watched every game this season.

Official stats show him only 3 games stAte,FSU and TXST. He can play in the bowl game.

…. I would think that every player with even the slightest risk of loosing his redshirt would be checked as a no compete!!

That is fair, Vic. I just feel he offers a wrinkle nobody else on this current staff does. Only time will tell.

Chriss played against Ark State, FSU (1 play at game end), and yesterday. He keeps his redshirt even if he plays in the bowl game.
