My 15 year old son (who scored 20 TD’s at school this year) crushed me by saying he wants to go to a real football game where people pack the stadium. I have taken him to many UL games but he considers them high schooling, since his large 5A school has large crowds.

Totally different industry. $750k for a first time D1 head football coach is really not that far out of the norm.

I have said it before, this year has been disappointing, but doesn't mean that Des is not the right person for the job. People, including me, underestimated exactly how much we had lost on the field and the coaching staff. The ULM game is the only really bad loss on the season. Yes, some of the other games were winnable, and I think with more experience we on the field and in the coaching staff we may have won them.

The true test will be how much of the young, impact core leaves via the transfer portal. I set the line at 2.5. If we get under that, I feel good that Des has the player buyin and will improve next season.

Look at the salaries. We’re pretty much getting what we’re willing to pay for.

Yes, u will. You obviously know little or forget a lot about the past of this Program. If we .500 this season, I (Me) consider this season not near as bad as it could have been. Matter of fact, not too bad.
