Brad was streaky. When he got it going he got going in a big way and could fill it up. I think he was around mid 30's percent for his last couple years. We have guys that will shoot higher than that this year from 3, possibly 3 guys. We have enough shooters IMO but its always better to have more.

That is nowhere close to accurate. Even before the portal change rule, near 1000 players were changing schools every year. Now no. Is double that. We have had plenty of issues with roster turnover but it is common. As far as yesterday goes, we were poor from the perimeter and that is bottom line. Can’t beat anyone shooting 15 percent from three. A few were bad shots but mostly a cold day. I do think we were a little quick firing them in first half. We made a comeback due to forcing turnovers ourselves and making some middies. Wish we would have taken more of those in first half.

    I like your point . . . a made 2 is much better than a missed 3 . . .

Not according to analytics. If that were true, there would actually be something called a 10-foot jump shot. Those are hardly ever taken in today's game. It's either a three-point shot or a drive to the basket.

When you change the facts you are prone to win the analysis.

True, however missing from that analysis is how open a shot is. The middies made yesterday by the Cajuns were after being run off three point line. They were open looks

This isn't true either. Since we were mentioning Brad Boyd earlier, I went back and looked at some stats from his last year in 04. If you go back and look at the number of 3's that team took for the year and what we take today, you'd see we average the EXACT same number of 3's attempted with around the same average made. If you watched any of the Phil Knight tournament over the past 4 or 5 days you'd see that's not the case either.

So he changed the facts and he still failed? Not good.
