If your travel is heading to San Marcos weather is supposed to improve here. Been wet for last several days but Saturday is supposed to be nice for game.

Heading that way tomorrow morning. Looking like we’ll be driving through rain to get to great Hill Country weather.

The plan is to drive Friday afternoon to Columbus Texas. Saturday morning drive to San Marcos and then drive back to Columbus Saturday after the game. Trying to split up the trip between Lafayette and San Marcos.
Let’s hope for some good weather Saturday and possibly a weather delay during the game. seems to help us

If you ever find yourself near Many/Toledo Bend, highly recommend Bub T's Tamales. Best I've ever had.

Might try Garcia’s Mexican restaurant. Mostly you’re going to find pork here. Other than that, HEB grocery might be your best option.

I tried for many years to try to make the Zwolle tamale festival. Just a bad time of the year for me. Thanks for the suggestion.

Their menu looks enticing. i’d like to find a food truck with tamales like this one, Magdalena’s Tamales. I don’t think they’re in business anymore I sent them amessage and have not heard back yet
