It’s his job. If a keeper touches the ball, 10 other people failed in their job.

Been watching Army-Navy and England-France. Few would imagine a soccer game with more scoring opportunities than any football game.

    Go Navy! Beat Army!

Croatia-Argentina first semi. Croatia has worked 7 of their last 8 matches to PK finishes. Messi hits a PK at the 34th minute, now Croatia has to attack instead of pack it back for 90+.

Argentina on a beautiful 11 second counter in response to a Croatia corner, Alvarez hits the back of the net, 2-0. 39th minute. Messi with a great pass along the way.

    HT. 2-0.

Nobody can tell me Argentina didn't throw that first match against Saudi Arabia. Nobody. People must have made millions on that one.

I tend to agree with that.

Messi with a nutmeg assist from the goal line. 3-0 Aregentina. 68th minute. Goal Alvarez.

Croatia ONE on goal shot thru 78. And they dominate possession @61%.

Argentina wins 3-0. Their approximate 40k fans sang most of the second half.

Croatia’s worst defeat in WC. A beautiful example when your MO is playing for a tie to reach PKs (AKA playing not to lose) it can bite you in the backside.

Messi will set the WC record for most career games played on Sunday.

Well, that could be interesting. She would be smart to wait and do that at home, that region of the world gets offended and arrests people if a woman doesn’t cover their head properly.

they seems to have relaxed the rules, or qatar wasnt as strict as others to begin with…. I have seen “gringo” fans of european teams wearing mock head coverings in team colors.

I was saying this the entire game. (watched recorded replay)

Morocco is a great story but France v Argentina has a chance to be the most entertaining final we've seen in our WC lifetimes.

Watching Messi dominate that game yesterday, the way he did, at his age, was just... magic.
