There must be a form letter that they use when committing & decomitting. Always lots of prayers. I wonder what the real truth would sound like? Probably more like, “I’m gonna hold out to see who throws out the most money” or some other things that are never mentioned.

He was our highest rated recruit and the highest rated commit in the SBC. Talented edge rusher from Neville in Monroe. I am sure he is being bombarded with promises to go elsewhere now that recruiting classes are getting finalized. Got to hang on to these guys.
Not sure if anyone else is in the same boat, but recruiting especially in this climate of social media, live commitment presentations, NIL is so theatrical that it's painful to try and follow. Not that decommitments didn't happen before, but it wasn't so in your face and fluid as it is now.
Signing day is kind of exciting, but everything building up to that is just a show.
