not looking to pile on this team and admin when they're down but I'm guessing we couldn't be bothered to honor UVA with a helmet sticker like most other teams around the country this weekend?

Personally, I’m not a fan of forced virtue signaling. What exactly does a helmet decal do to help the UVA family? It only says, “look at me. I care.”. If we really want to support that program, do something impactful and don’t tell anyone.

1 finish the game healthy
2 score(haha)
3 score TD(we had 2)
4 rush for 100 yards(130)

We all want to win and compete against every team in the country. We ran into a buzz saw yesterday. These were my realistic goals for what it’s worth. Covering the spread and winning would have been great but it is what it is. We win 2 in a row and finish with a winning record.

In the big picture, Boomer is right. Win v Texas State, .500 regular season. Everyone won’t be happy, but most will find tolerable.

Lose, that’s 5-7, and that will simmer on the back burner all summer. Think crowds were an issue this year, finish 5-7, second to last in our division. Excuses be damned.

Fan expectations isn’t something the UL administration is use to. They only have experience dealing with when things bottom out. A lot to figure out this off season either way on and off the field.
