As painful as it was, I think keeping Fields in is the right move. He’s the guy next week and he needs some snaps and some confidence.

Looking at the game as a whole, it’s not all on him by a long shot. The qb is always the focal point. He made mistakes, no doubt and the offense was mostly lost against the starters.

I thought the defense would compete. They got humbled in a big way.

As cosmetic as it is, those 2 tds are momentum into next week.

If Zeon is the guy Des thinks can beat Texas St then go with him. He plans to start Chandler then get him all the reps possible coming off the injury and not playing since Ark St. He needs reps if he’s going to start next week.

Not saying Zeon is the answer but I applaud for feeling Dez is that competent as head coach at this point.
