Relax, I was portraying how they advertised the event on the radio and on multiple local links. Don’t attack the messenger (this old man used to order the knockoff baseball hats that said UL back around 2000). I’m well aware of the issue and obviously made my point.

It's comical how UL keeps conflicting with itself...like athletics is the evil twin of the main campus, especially when it's a high profile one like this AA event...could have been held on one of the other 364 days...Again our AA draws the short straw...

I'd love to go but the Food & Wine Soiree is being hosted at the ULL Alumni Center from 6pm-9pm. Heard about it on the radio. Didn't hear anything about our basketball game so this must be more important for our Alumni.

I'm obviously joking (bringing my family of 4 to bball game) but I just find it funny how we always compete against ourselves and our city.

Event isn’t being put on by the Alumni Associations. It is being held at the Alumni House. It is sponsored by the Acadiana Chapter of the Louisiana Restaurant association, and the UL Lafayette Department of Hospitality Management. This event was planned long before the basketball schedule was put together.
