Now when Buffalo win, that’s 80 teams and we go to Indy.

App. should have performed better and JMU not Bowling is nuts. Crazy the SBC still has so many eligible teams and this bowl is cancelled.

still odd….. how many bowls do they “own” now? no conflict of interest i suppose in coverage and rankings shows. Maybe they should have to pay NIL for highlights.

Actually, I am in favor of this. Bowl games should be a reward fo a good season, a winning season. 6-6 shouldn't cut it either.

The waivers were granted just in case teams were needed. They weren’t guaranteed spots.

    I agree.

The 6-win sufficient idea got its start when teams played only 11 games.

With 11 games, 6-wins obviously means winning season.

When CF went to a 12 game season the threshold should have been moved to 7-wins.

Having said that, I am thrilled Louisiana recovered enough to get itself bowl eligible under the current system.

I am thrilled as well and wll be at the bowl game; I agree that the threshold should change and the number of bowl games be reduced. Too much watering down.

I know its about the money, but it should be about the game.

not nearly enough teams make 7-5, probably need to go back to 11 game sked, so more teams will be 6-5, could clear up the two fcs situation as well. ?and leave room for “extra rounds”??

Will we definately know the Indy Bowl match up by Sunday? Or is the Army situation (if they beat Navy) still going to hold up the decision waiting for a waiver?

Waiver already granted to New Mexico State. When Buffalo wins, that fills all available spots. My sources are all in on Indy and will be announced Sunday.

It looks like Army's appeal was denied.
