Thread: Bowl Projections:

Would be ironic to hold Army out of a bowl by not counting a win because they beat a team that doesnt offer athletic scholarships, but every team that beats Army can count a win against a team that doesnt offer athletic scholarships. #Ooops

Army plays the option that's hard to prepare for. It's nothing like beating up on Lamar and Nichols and playing a soft schedule and still not getting bowl eligible.

It's all moot anyways cause Army ain't winning 3 straight. Indy bowl is not gonna wait around to see if they even get a waiver.

A lot of projections now show either Louisiana vs Houston or Louisiana vs UCF in the Indy bowl.
We really need this game vs TX state.
Really would be nice to get either of those.

    Yikes.

That would have been a fun bowl game with last year's team.

Probably because us winning in San Marcos isn't a given.

15 teams still have a chance with 7 openings.

Tonight: MACTION winner of Ball vs Miami (1)
others with fair chance: teams that need the win listed first
    Miami vs Pitt (2)
Buffalo vs Kent (3) (and has chance to make up a game vs one win akron)
    Rice at N. Texas (4)
    UAB at LaNeck (5)
    Mizzou vs Arkansas (6)
Georgia Southern vs APP state (7)**** winner take all
    USM at Monroe (8)
    Cajuns at Bobcats (9)

    Teams with difficult chance
    Georgia Tech at UGA
    Mich St @ Penn State
    UTEP at UTSA
    Vandy vs Tenn
    Auburn at Bama

im not sure if fair chance or tough chance:
    FAU vs W.Kentucky

** NMSU needs two: at Liberty (x) and then would need a makeup of game vs SJSU

I would say Georgia Tech at UGA is no chance.
