i guess we will never know the fine print: was their waiver for:
a. to be bowl eligible with 2 fcs wins
b. to be bowl eligible at 5-6 (which was first reported)
c. a. and b.
d. would they still have been bowl eligible at 5-7

I think the waiver was granted because they lost the 12th game because the opponent cancelled. All they could find was a bad fcs school to fill the schedule. I don’t think they had to play that game against valpo

concur, but i am asking more specifically, the parameters of said waiver. they didnt have to play, but once they kicked off was waiver at risk? or was it in essence a multipurpose waiver. seems army was officially denied, although odd cant seem to find an article about it
