two different things, the waivers should be reviewed individually by ncaa, then various bowls would have separate selection decisions to make.

still find it ironic that for a 6-6 season a “bigger” bowl is on the radar than for ten plus win seasons

You see Indy today bigger than the NOLA bowl? I don’t see that. This isn’t the Indy bowl of the 80s and 90s.

good point. but which one has a p5 tie-in, which is later on schedule, and which has higher payout? isnt that the bowl pecking order criteria?

P5 tie-in means nothing when it comes to bigger bowl.

You have to judge these things on a year by year basis.

will we have to wait until after the conference championship games to find out our destination?

Army plays Navy on Dec. 10. Will the Indy Bowl have to wait until then to see if Army gets their 6th win and the waiver? I thought everything would be decided next Sunday.

just lookin’ back……we lost 4 games on the road…..2 to losing record teams ULM and Rice and the Fla st and miss south games were to 6-6 and a really great team….. we lost 2 at home games both to pretty well ranked Troy and USA and both on the last plays of the game….I know some had us 6-6 but wonder if those were the losses…..so we still have a chance at a winning season record and what about our bowl records…..any updates ?
