Mel, I thought an FCS win still counted as a D-1 win and was acceptable for bowl-eligibility.

I figured my numbers might be wrong...
Not a bid deal. I appreciate you doing the legwork. It was something I planned on looking at today. I know the SBC has five teams bowl eligible at the moment and will have six after this weekend. But could have as many as eight teams eligible. Not bad for a league of fourteen.
My wish for bowl season is the same as always. 1) - Whatever is best for the Cajuns. 2) - What ever is best for the conference. The best regional matchups possible. 8 would be awesome.
Update on games to get to 6 wins:
GaSo vs App St. x
USM vs ULM
UL vs Tx St.
GaTech vs GA (GA is winning 10-7)
MIA vs Pitt x
MSU vs Penn St. x
FAU vs WKU (Tied 7 all)
Rice vs UNT x
UAB vs LaTech
UTEP vs UTSA x
Army vs UMASS & NAVY (need to win both) (Army winning 21-7)
NMSU vs Liberty (NMSU winning 21-7)
Missou vs Arkansas (Mizzou wins 6-6)
VANDY vs Tennessee x
Auburn vs BAMA x
Buffalo vs Kent St. (just started 0-0)
As of now, there are 81 teams with 6 wins.
So minus JMU, there are 80 teams at 6 wins right now. Three are still pending at 5-6 (Buffalo, Army, NMSU). Vanderbilt and Miami should be out after tonight.
I don’t think Buffalo and NMSU will be making up their lost games.
