Prior to that the Cajuns need to prepare for the Bulldogs visit. Coach Marlin said in post game he knows we will have a decent student turnout for Thursday's game. Wonder if they are promoting the game on campus for him to make that remark.
One more comment about today's game. Terrance Lewis earned tournament MVP honors. Congratulations to him. Guy is fitting in very well here for someone who just joined the squad at the beginning of the fall semester.

As long as you transfer during the portal window dates for each sport...transfer as many times as you want.

Historically Marlin puts a good team together every 7 years give or take.

Would like to see us manage those bigger leads a little better so we don't have to work so hard at the end of a game but they are getting it done so far. Couple other things. We've got some guys logging lots of minutes already. We need to be able to develop that bench and get some pop from them when they come in. Turnovers were still an issue last night and we need to continue working on getting them down. Solid win.

We still can not run a half court offense. We have simply out talented our opponent.

These next 3 games should give us an idea if that is true or not.

That is concerning to me as well. We get into situations where we do a lot of one man dribbling. I saw Michael Thomas do that a couple times in his limited minutes last night and everything is designed to feed JB which slows the possession down.

We don’t have a backup point guard. They can run a half court with the starter in

What would you call Michael Thomas?

Big game Thursday vs in-state rival LA Tech. Hopefully we get a good crowd and decent student turnout! Hoping the band goes as well. These are the kinds of games I look forward to as a fan.

I worded that slightly wrong. We don’t have a backup point guard that can run a half court offense. As stated when Thomas is in the game we do not have a half court offense.

Good win against a pretty good team. It's disappointing that the officiating was bad in the last few minutes. They let them play in the first half, then seemed to call everything in the second. Brown's 5th foul was a very poor call, he slipped and fell with the other guy.
