Speaking of Texas tech to see if Malik Wilson was still there and apparently he transferred again to Houston

Like I told Boomer I’m not interested in people who walk away, especially if they got plenty of PT.

On a different note I thought you got one free move.

Not sure of the rules anymore Will the players ever have to sit out a year after transferring? You know, like the olden days.

Nice that it was on the U also.
Anyone know the status of Joe Charles? Had his left arm in a sling.

These threads will be interesting once Marlin loses a game.

I don’t think they got into detail in the postgame. Maybe something in the article tomorrow.

I think Wilson is sitting out this year in Houston. If your coach leaves, you may be able to get another . As far as today goes, East Tennessee did well with halftime adjustments it appeared to me. Figured out our trap which led to some turnovers which allowed us to score with numbers advantage in first half. When they handled that they got the ball inside to Haynes in second half. He was a load to handle. One thing I noticed is that Brown and Fulks both made 2 free throws in one and one situations late in game. The one and one is a stressful situation so kudos to them. Fulks missing one did add pressure on our defense. Bucs were great at line most of game but stumbled in crunch time. Cajuns were somewhat the opposite.

A loss will happen at some point. Cajuns are not going 30 and 0. Next three games will be challenging. Tech at home followed by money games at SMU and Drake. Today's game was a semi road game with ETSU having a few folks there as well as their band. Hopefully that prepares them for the two tough road games Thanksgiving week. Prior to that the Cajuns need to prepare for the Bulldogs visit. Coach Marlin said in post game he knows we will have a decent student turnout for Thursday's game. Wonder if they are promoting the game on campus for him to make that remark.

Came home after game 1 at the Tigue to watch Basketball. We got a solid team this year. I gotta give Coach Marlin props when due because I haven’t been his biggest supporter, like the majority…but we look the part.

And remember we are doing this without Kobe julien. A healthy Julien makes us even a better team. The next 3 games will be tough.

La Tech is coming off a 24-10 season where they lost in the CUSA championship. They are 1-0 vs miss college and play a tough Texas tech team tomorrow night. We will have a better idea of what this team is after this game.

SMU is 1-1 this year with a win over Texas A&M commerce and a loss to a good Dayton team. They went 24-9 last year and lost in the 2nd round of the NIT.

Drake is 1-0 this year with a win over IUPUI in convincing fashion. They will play Wofford and buffalo before we face them. They were 25-11 last year and lost in the 2nd round of the CBI tournament.

So all 3 of these teams should be really good tests.

Bobby Ball usually would lose the game tonight when ETSU went on that run. They didn’t which is a good sign.
