How bowl game pursuit fueled Louisiana football's win over Georgia Southern

The defensive linemen and linebackers were aware the Eagles had allowed just three sacks through the first nine games this season.

Problem for GSU was that Louisiana's defense was unconcerned about that. Against the Eagles on Thursday night at Cajun Field, the Ragin' Cajuns played with the bigger picture in mind.

Any idea if we happen to get to 6 wins what bowl game we are looking at ?

I do see where:
– Army can be moved where needed, but the main tie-in this year is the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl vs the American Athletic Conference. Army most probably will not be making a bowl this year, thus the Indy bowl will have a slot open. I know someone said that an Indy Bowl representative was at our last home game.

I know it is in Shreveport, but wouldn't be a bad option to go up against an American Athletic opponent in our home state. This seems to be a good possibility and a bowl in our home state other than the NOLA bowl.

I know I would travel there as it is only a few hours away from Avoyelles Parish.
