    Only 9 turnovers.

Led all but 31 seconds of the game.

If this team can keep TOs down, and play good defense, they will be very successful this season.

Only 9 turnovers in this game. Anything below double figures is excellent in that regard. Better point guard play helps there. Defense was fine for most of the night. Harvard made some nice shots during their run. It also coincided with about three of our turnovers. Still like the way our guys did not panic and put the game away after Harvard made their run. In almost every college game, a decent team will fight back after getting knocked in the teeth. No surprise Harvard did. Also encouraged by the fact shots not going down early in the game did not impact the Cajuns defensive intensity. Often teams get discouraged when nothing is falling but it did not appear the CAjuns did tonight. I suspect East Tennessee wins the next game. Good thing about playing first is you get a better opportunity to scout your next opponent in person.

The Big Fish will watch the next game and install a winning game plan for tomorrow . . .

Bobby Big Fish said his young coaches will scout the opponents tomorrow to gain experience. Does that mean he’s overseeing them?

Is he up to 76.5% yet? He keeps padding his stats with these weak ass teams.

Coach Hardin has been moved to a Director of Scouting role. Supposedly that is one of his strong points. He will take the lead on preparation for every opponent and one assistant will work with him in getting ready for each game. That will be a learning experience for them and that assistant will present the game plan in practice. Of course, tomorrow's practice will just be a walk through with the scouting report given at that time.

We don't know yet if Harvard will be a weak team this year. Lots of games to be played before that determination can be made.

He played great last night. Amazing that he played against us with Jackson state last year and scored exactly 1 point. This kid is on his 5th school 3 Jucos and 3 D1 schools. Wonder what the back story is. He was the best player on the court.

I like what I've seen so far. We are deep at guard and hopefully all of ours bigs stay healthy because, and if so, you're looking at sweet 16 potential here fellas

We had recruited and offered him back when he was coming out of JUCO when he signed with North Texas. Glad whatever relationship that was established then was maintained.
