I am not talking about the $500 "turn key" tailgating where tables, chairs, ice, televisions, etc. are provided. I'm talking basic do it yourself tailgating.

RCAF is currently charging $425-$500 for a spot + $500 RCAF donation ($925-$1000 total) and that is just for the rights to set up. No tables, chairs, etc. are provided.

I would like to see some sources on what you have posted about Florida State.

So it appears regular tailgating at Florida State is free and first come first serve. They also have a sponsored Coca-Cola area where you can pay to get in and it provides food, drinks, restrooms (like our alumni tent).

Not exactly. To get a vehicle anywhere near the stadium, you have to go through police checkpoints. According to the map, all parking areas are "Booster Permitted Parking". So it you want a first come first serve spot, you better know someone with a house nearby and use their yard.

Metcalf wasn't fulfilling his end of the contract so he was asked to leave. I support the university on that decision. But why haven't we approached Pizzaville or Pizza Village? Somebody in this town must be interested in making money...

Not having daqs at the stadium is dumb as hell. Another thing we're known for but don't sell inside a RAGIN CAJUN game.

It was hard for him to find workers and keep the pizza hot at the same time was the reason I got for it not working out.

Not exactly ideal if you have a family or young kids. If you want a space to actually post up with a family, you need a tailgate spot. And btw, that is a large portion of the demographic we target. The spots a long the fences should be free. For so many reasons.

If it was free I doubt we pull 30K fans. Inside issues would have to be addressed first.
