Long concession lines when we have 11k people in a 41k seat stadium is not big time. Having security guards standing behind students making sure every word they say is Disney approved is not big time. Promoting well for 2 days out of a 10+ month period is not big time. People having to drive to your box office during the week to avoid insane fees instead of being able to purchase online is not big time. Choosing to ignore your team’s biggest accomplishments is not big time. Driving students away by moving them back and forth is not big time. People telling you for 5 years your speaker system is insanely loud and ignoring them is not big time. Scanners never working is not big time. Overpriced flooded tailgate spots is not big time. Horrible merchandise that goes against your branding efforts is not big time. Letting your field fade to pink is not big time. Letting one of your 2,000 donors walk away without a phone call to see what’s up is not big time. The lack of care and pride our admins show in their jobs is not big time.

I’m not making ANY excuses. I’ll be there regardless. I’ll be damned though if I’m gonna sit by and watch people lie and say this university is doing everything it can. You want people to believe you’re big time: wake up and act like it. Have a little pride.

You do know that the administration, head coaches, assistant coaches, staff members, players, parents, radio media members, etc see and read these post. Some of them even post on this site. This doesn't need to be stickied in a new thread and locked. They know what needs to be done.

And the chicken, while yes, juicy, is bland as a plain white sheet of paper. If I HAVE to dip the chicken into a sauce to get some flavor, that's not a positive.

Biggest obstacle to overcome:
People in the Lafayette area will complain no matter what the administration does. We’re not the purple team so they think everything should be free.

On price, we are at the right price point if they can overcome the Lafayette Little Brother attitude. Parking next to the stadium at Southeastern (like ours inside the fence) is $25 per game. Tailgate spot at Florida State is $500 per year for a basic spot (comes turnkey with tent, chairs, & ice chest). Good luck parking anywhere near the stadium at Florida State without a parking pass. Even their tailgate area charges $35 a person to enter. However, UL can offer everything for free and the Lafayette people will still find a BS excuse to stay home.

I am not talking about the $500 "turn key" tailgating where tables, chairs, ice, televisions, etc. are provided. I'm talking basic do it yourself tailgating.

RCAF is currently charging $425-$500 for a spot + $500 RCAF donation ($925-$1000 total) and that is just for the rights to set up. No tables, chairs, etc. are provided.

I would like to see some sources on what you have posted about Florida State.

Here is what I found online regarding Florida State tailgating:

Tailgating: locations not reserved for booster operations (parking or traffic control) are on a first come first served basis. Tailgate locations cannot disrupt pedestrian traffic on sidewalks or violate university rules or state laws for safe operation.

For those interested, tickets can be purchased for the Coca-Cola Fan Tailgate, located outside Gate K, prior to game day on Seminoles.com or on game day for $35 or $45 for the Clemson and Florida games.

The Coca-Cola Tailgate Zone will be an admission-only turnkey tailgate that will provide fans with food, drinks, access to restrooms and 25-foot giant screen to view games being played around the nation. Costs range from $25-$35 depending on opponent.

So it appears regular tailgating at Florida State is free and first come first serve. They also have a sponsored Coca-Cola area where you can pay to get in and it provides food, drinks, restrooms (like our alumni tent).
