Say what you want about Ga Southern, but this is professional level mascotting right here.

Are we the only D1 team without a mascot? Some people might want to say “USLing it” by not having a mascot, but when we were USL… we had a mascot.

Gumbo time and we can season him with cayenne.
OK I agree we probably need a mascot. I just don’t think this is the one.
It probably be hard to find a consensus amongst this group for what type of mascot we need. good luck finding one!

I have deduced that the grups are proposing an exhumation of Cayenne and sending him on tour.

If my deduction is accurate, this is insanity at its finest.

ps The tour is not insanity, exhuming Cayenne is.

I would support this. I've said it before. When your nickname is a group of people, if your mascot is not a physical representation of said people, then whatever you choose as a mascot can be nothing more of a background figure or a spirit leader.

We have a history with Cayenne. He is very popular nationwide. We need to make our peace with him. They just need to tweak his look a little.

Cayenne wrapped in the 2021 conference championship banner. Great reveal coming in 2025ish.

That’s about her strange one. Can anyone from the administration answer the question why we don’t have the freaking mascot? Send that guy to schools. On tour with coaches and player appearances.

History yes, but this is the first I ever read that he is popular nation wide.

Probably the single worst reason for a mascot though. He, it, should be popular at The Swamp.

When a mascot can turn around 360 degrees and people across the field can't tell he moved, you have a terrible mascot problem. They need a snout.

Cayenne failed for a reason: Spindle Head, poor fit.

It’s my fault. I nicknamed our mascot “Nipplehead” back then. Someone probably didn’t want the name to stick. Kinda sucks.

Well he has trouble doing a 360 so there's that. Plus the head is wider than it is deep so you do get the magnification of movement.
