The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Basketball team begins a three-game road trip on Friday, November 11 facing No. 3 Texas in the first regular season women's basketball contest held at the newly opened Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

Cajuns had it down to 10 with 5:57 left in the 4th quarter and then Texas went on a 16-3 run to end the game. It was actually respectable for most of the game we just were unable to make baskets. The defense played extremely well but the offense was terrible. We held Texas to 38.8% shooting from the field and 1-11 from 3. Unfortunately we shot onky 25% and 2-11 from 3. The other problem was ft we were 19-30. Texas was 29-38

Not a big stat since Texas only took 8 more than UL. We missed 11, they missed 9.

Texas is #3 for a reason. Our take away was game experience and a payday.

Agreed about the results. I didn’t see any bad calls so the disparity was earned both ways. Still anytime someone makes as many as you take isn’t a good thing.
