Cool instead of MACtion......CRAPtion. I like it.
MACTION is a November thing. SBC is October-November.
If our people don’t figure $#!+ out we’ll be playing midweek “Suck-tion” games before we know it!
Well the suck really got me this PM. 103.7 2 minute drill…nothing Cajuns (I understand) and we have zero alternatives on the terrestrial side.
The Crunch Time guys discussed the disappointing attendance from last Saturday in their Monday afternoon show. They gave some suggestions on how to improve things after I called and requested they do so. Their comments mirrored a lot of what has been mentioned in the Ragin Review podcast. Hopefully their is some pre game coverage tomorrow. I am sure Scott Prather will provide some on his early morning show.
The point about the 2 minute drill is every half hour schedules for State, McNeese, Pels, and Astros news is put out in the public. 103.7 isn’t going to put the competition’s schedule out there. 103.3 hasn’t given any reason for Cajun fans to listen other than Scott’s hit or miss program.
The thing is they are moving all their games in October to Tuesday/Wednesday with the hope of getting on ESPN. The contract says ESPN can pick eight game in October to air after CBSSSSSN get first pick.
We are guaranteed to be on the the U or the Deuce if we have a mid-week game. But some CDOA teams could be playing with no linear tv at all and just hoping ESPNEWS or desportes picked them up. Lol
