Think about this. How many times this season has UL played on national television & had the opportunity to have the SBC championship banner be blasted to every potential recruit in this land & blown that opportunity. If I were Mike, I would have personally taken some of that new found money & had one hung myself if I couldn't talk the school into paying for a banner. And I would have hung right over that bell no one wants to ring. This administration reminds of the song American Pie. They are the most depressing group of supposedly educated people on Earth.

Excuse me, but doesn't the school across the basin have something called "The Intimidator" ?

I never said it wasn't about pride. I also never said a banner intimidates players. Go back and read what others said and my response. I know VObserver gave you some good strategy advice last night. Geaux Cajuns. When you want to come to a softball game with us let me know.

Your correct nobody has won a game at that place since the sign went up. It didn't intimidate Stony Brook.

You’re exactly right. Some schools have multi million dollar buildings dedicated to trophies and banners.

The two places I've been where you could say banners are intimidating...The Dean Smith center at UNC and the arena at Duke...
