Crazy idea.

We should allow people to bring their own food/drinks into the game. Also try to match the music played in the stadium with the music played outside the stadium. Bring the tailgate into the stadium.

We could still sell some type of concessions, but this would make A LOT of people happy.

Put in giant video board. Show no junk, just Cajuns live and replays, add highlights on SBC games and games of interest during timeouts, possession changes, and halftime. Many people are more interested in their fantasy teams, gambling than attendance. This might be an incentive for way too many people today.

If you want to get real crazy, pull all the benches out of the south endzone, and let people bring in their own chairs. Heck, we could even overlay the thing to make the "rows" 8 feet wide instead of 3-4 ft. Then you've basically created a tailgating area inside Cajun Field.

Can you imagine the whole end zone being packed with a bunch of crazies sitting around their ice chests watching the game?

I Remember when we were supposed to have a ribbon board on order for the new east side "awning" a couple of seasons ago. they even spaced out the retired numbers for it
