The portal/NIL affects the top end teams more than the majority of teams. The one saving grace is many players think they’re good enough for the big show and want court time.
Gotta win a few games so we can lock up a good seed in their end of season tournament
Big Fish in a little sewer
Still don't understand why we publicize this. Hell the CUSA and AAC arent even "mid-major" when in it comes to this poll..
Also just noticed that Bob Marlin is on the voting panel
CUSA living in the pre Big East universe. Everyone from that era gone. AAC living in post Big East era and that’s just about gone. Y’all may recall the original Big East bolted when Lamer U joined.
YAY, we are the #1 team in an absolutely $ h ! t T y conference!!!!! Let's be happy!
Goodness, if BM has a decent season, does he have anymore god awful auto-renewals in his contract??? Do I need to cheer that we lose, basically?
No automatic renewal but it is extremely unlikely a coach will be let go with a conference championship in hand. That may make it difficult to attract a new coach of quality. So yes if a new coach is your priority, you don’t want the team to be successful. Of course that means you will be hoping that guys like Jordan Brown, Greg Williams jr, Jalen Dalcourt etc. experience failure they are working hard to avoid. Now I will not criticize if you feel that way as everyone sees things differently. The way you feel is the way you feel. However I don’t think most of our supporters actually hope guys who wear our uniform, work to earn their scholarship, and perform civic engagement duties want them to not be rewarded for their efforts.
