I’m not concerned about that. Our haters said the same thing about Napier. It’s the bigger picture that concerns me.

I think the bigger point is we’ve already lost double the games that we lost the past two seasons combined.

We better figure it out fast.

It’s what happens when you commit to a conference champion that becomes a bottom feeder in the west. He won’t be the last.

Thank you…the big picture. We’ve quickly given up our position in the instate pecking order AND keeping the brand relevant. We can blame whatever/whoever we want…Napier, money, hiring search, etc. it all comes down to UL did not maintain some semblance of dominance against the crappiest SOS opponents laid before us. The staff must deliver this off season and bounce back next season, or we’ll just be right back to long term irrelevance. Or bluntly put, we’re not in a position to have a “you don’t understand, it’s a learning curve” situation.

UL needs to take care of its own backyard.

I have zero faith in this staff to recruit quality players to this program.

This only has basis in fact if you sold the program as a conference champion.

100% agree and understand your point that some other are not getting.

can you imagine Clemson fans saying they would rather USC win a national championship instead of a fellow ACC conference foe that they really hate? They would pick the hated conference foe 10 out of 10 times and without hesitation, just to keep USC from winning something that big. In State battles, Especially in a city like N.O. where we want to recruit from often matters. Those battles are not just head to head, but in the media/press/successes also.

I have been concerned about this one ever since the first Destrahan flip to Tulane. Seems all the teammates are looking at playing college ball together now. sad part is all are going to Tulane. good luck to them. we need to hold onto everyone else in this class. WR was a position we could afford to lose a recruit on is my best guess.

I have faith in Des and Tim to get good players to UL. I am more concerned with having good coaches to coach these kids up.

You just said that Coach Des should be fired not long ago. Now you trust him?
