I concede the bus isn't the be-all and end-all on last minute short week preparedness.
The opposite happened at the end of the Rice game where they had a whole week, and a bus ride to prep.
Early in the Rice game the offense still wasn't ready to handle the defensive gifts. So there's no magic bus ride.
ps Either that or someone forgot to load the water hose.
Besides this bus thing being idiotic, it is insulting. It implies, hell it says, that they didn't try hard due to some assumed superiority. Despite ZERO evidence of this. The team played hard to the final snap, and nearly pulled off the comeback. They played poorly at times, and a bunch of those times were on plays that could have changed the outcome. However to say they lost this game due to flying there because it made them feel superior is without merit, insulting, and frankly stupid. They have a lot to fix right now, but from what I saw it's not effort. Theories like this bus vs plane thing come from people who have no idea what they are talking about but THINK they do. They can't correctly analyze the situation, so they grasp onto dumb ____ like this.
Leave BWK along
No it is exactly what BWK was saying.
As far as your "could have coached them up on the bus". Was the plane a no talking zone? I've been on plenty of busses on the way to games, and can't remember the outcome EVER being decided by "on bus" coaching. I mean that line of reasoning is even dumber than BWKs.
I don't know what alternate game you watched. But in the one I watched, we did get run out of the stadium before half. In fact, our 60 minutes of great comeback football netted less total points than their 30 minutes of football. That is the definition of an ASS WHIPPING! I don't care how much french perfume you use that was a sack of skunks we let out on the field. And the facts that you pointing out about us aiding them in the ass whipping doesn't make the whipping any less miserable.
You're wrong. I don't know why you keep reposting to confirm how far off base you are in your takes. But there is really nothing this team did that was worth pasting in the UL moral victory history book. Is it nice to know they only got outscored 10 to 9 in the second half after getting RUN OFF THE FIELD in the first half. Because getting run off the field in the first half is exactly what I saw happen.
