I can't buy into the "what ifs" of traveling for 4 hours. I could probably come up with 100 reasons never to leave my house.

If it really is a road block (pun) to success, leave early, create a lunch bucket mindset.

Take 90 south, make it 4:15 and go to 190

Getting past BR is a nothing burger.

If there were a little adversity it would draw the team together, weird how those things work.

"as much as it is lack of mental toughness"....

Sure, Cajuns could have rolled over after the first quarter and folded like a cheap suit, instead UL kept digging and digging...that displayed their mental toughness..Ben running down the DB (?) after another turnover showed me he's not quiting...guys with mental toughness don't quit...UL didn't quit...

    True Dat!

It's "Out the Gate" preparedness that is lacking.

Beyond that, this team has no quit.

YOU need to flush the L and move on.

Being mentally prepared & not shooting yourself in the foot every time you get within striking range of someone you weren't mentally prepared to play begin with is every bit as much are part of being mentally tough as having a don't quit attitude. In this race it doesn't matter if you don't quit if you allow someone who is physically inferior put a beat down on you the whole time while you continue to climb back into a contest you really should have never lost control of to begin with. And you can't tell me that last series our guys didn't quit. Because it sure looked like it to me.

Instead a Jet Set attitude added to the head spinning turn around week.

The team didn't know what hit them till it was to late.

One of the main reasons the team flew to USM and back was because of academics. Some players had class today. Had it been a Saturday game, they would have taken the bus.

Didn't USM have the day off because of the game? It's nice to see some schools have their priorities in order.

Considering how many days basketball is away from campus, I find this to be a false narrative concern.

How many consecutive days is golf gone?

With online classes being the norm now, the rush to rush back for the 2 days a year football is away on a week night?
