I just watched the replay. The ball actually bounced at the 20. Garror stood at the 10 and decided not to catch it off the bounce. So he could have caught it at the 20!!! Wow!! Even a worse play.

He does a great job catching the ball....which is paramount with a punt returner. But, sometimes when the wind is blowing, it can be very difficult and you have to have confidence to make that catch. I don't think he lacks confidence and I don't think wind was an issue last night, but that was not a good decision to not make the effort to field that punt.

I'm turning KPEL off for the last time. I'm officially done with this bull____.

You mean the female host in the morning has a college degree?

Last punt of the game same thing. He let it bounce at the 26 and decided not to grab it off the bounce. Cost us 10 yards again.

I feel like Dez goes for it on 4th down early in the game when we could get 3 points. We have a decent FG kicker and we’re not very good on 4th down. Going for it on 4th down when you’re in FG range should be done when you are running out of time and need a TD or you have confidence that your O line can get the push to get the first. jMO

First missed xp, 40 yard fg, and then next td would have kicked xp instead of going for 2. It would have been 29-22 in the 3rd instead of 29-17. And not catching punts hurt us. Kick off out of bounds late. Penalty’s on kickoffs. Special teams was bad other than the xp block and return. Plenty of mistakes through out. But basic plays on ST would have been a whole different ball game.

Wrs are getting behind safeties probably because unlike us other teams have running games. They have to account for that along with poor tackling among our defensive line and linebackers.

John Fox going for 2XP in the 3rd cost Jake Delhomme a Super Bowl.

Going for it on 4th "early" should be reserved for an area of the field just out of FG range but where you are comfortable with your defense taking over.

Always take the small points early.
Reserve the scared money spending for when the game is on the line.

Let’s not forget once again, minor but important, we had ANOTHER kickoff go out of bounds.

Something else that cost Jake Delhomme a Super Bowl title.

How many is that this year?
