One specifically plays FS, RB and QB. He's about 6' and weighs about 195. Runs a 4.5. Defense will likely be his position at the next level.
He has around 70 tackles and 7 picks on the season in a tough 5-A district. He's been VERY lightly recruited so far. Would anyone know the best way to get him out there? Tweet videos and tag coaches? Would love to see him in a Cajuns uniform.
Start tagging recruiting coordinators and their assistants with videos. Get him to as many unofficial visits as possible but be realistic. Most recruiting boards have been set up 2 to 3 years in advance. The Cajuns have 17 public commitments at this point, and likely have it narrowed down to 35 kids they like a lot at this point. Don't rule out other state schools just because they may not be FBS programs. An opportunity to play college football at any level, is an opportunity to receive an education on grant or scholarship. At this stage, a preferred walk-on opportunity may eventually lead to a chance at a scholarship. The first step is to reach out to recruiting coordinators and their assistants on social media.

Video means nothing without a rating in the recruiting game. Reaching out to recruiting coordinators only gives that coordinator your name & puts you on 6th string if your boy is really really good. 7 picks in half a season reeks of really really good. If the kid is a senior all of this advice is not good for ____. Getting a kid into a shoe camp even if his senior season is over will get him rated. Getting him rated will draw interest from schools all over the country. What draws recruiters? Ratings? Why? Because fans & boosters look at ratings. Who sets the ratings? The Shoe camps set the ratings. Anyone who doesn't mention shoe camp doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground about the recruiting game & isn't being honest with you. In most cases they don't even know they're not being honest with you because that's how little they know. SHOE CAMP!

How many kids does T have that have been recruited? How much money has T paid to send a kid to football camps all over timbucktu? How many lies has T, or his son been told by college football coaches? You follow that advice & your kid will most likely be working at Wal Mart within two years. You take my advice & that kid is going to get letters of interest from all over the country. They might not all be FBS, but there are a ton of really good FCS schools he can go to. You can fly inside the jet (shoe camp), or you can grab a rope on the outside of Jet & try to pull yourself inside while its in flight ( no shoe camp).

Something scary to do during this Halloween weekend. Go into your bathroom, turn off the lights. Say "shoe camp" 3 times in the mirror.

One campus prospect camps are much more effective for catching a coaches eye than a mega camp any day.

Run your trap & show just how much you don't know about another football issue. That's another reason you can't judge Ben's talent. I can tell you from looking at Ben's High school recruiting & looking at Ian Book's recruiting that Ben definitely has more talent than Book. So how did Book get recruited by Washington State & Notre Dame & ben only get one offer from Fresno. Simple: SHOE CAMP!

You talk'n camps like this one right Mr. King? https://www.ussportscamps.com/footba...ool-of-jackson

I basically did the same thing with my son that T offered. He go visits every week from coaches at his high schools and letters. He, however, was not interested in moving forward with his football career....and he ain't working at Wal-Mart either...as far as T's son is concerned, everyone who has been a member of this board as long as you have should know his son's story....
