No doubt, but many of those "on campus" invites are based on data they recieved from other camps.

I'll just say this. My son was invited to one of the "shoe camps" back in 2019. I forget the exact name of it. It was something Elite where the top guy moves on to the elite competition nationally. That year the kid that moved on from that camp was TJ Finely. I took him to it because he wanted to do it. But before going I asked Tim Leger what he thought about the camp. He said " if it were Gunner in that position I wouldn't go to it." There aren't coaches there and we can't be present at those camps. "Get him in on campus camps". I trust a coach.

Exactly! The Nike Camps for example are run by former college players and sometimes coaches. They hold local camps like Baton Rouge, New Orleans and other cities. I helped at one conducted at STM one year. You pay to have you son tested at these events, and the top athletes from each location will be invited to the Nike 150 in Houston and then maybe over to the Regional Top 100 or 75 in San Antonio. This happens in every region across the country, East, West, South, Southwest and Midwest. You have to be invited to those events, you can't just show up. If your son doesn't finish in the top group in his position, he does not get invited to the top events. BTW, all those events are completed by August. There are no more camps for seniors to attend, unless you attend an unsigned camp in the spring hosted by junior colleges.
