Remember, Remember, the 5th of November!
The dude makes his MLB debut on opening day, taking the place of a guy in Carlos Correa, who, for all his faults, was super clutch in the playoffs. And then Peña proceeds to win the ALCS and WS MVPs, all while throwing up the heart symbol and Jordan shoulder shrugs. He went from “who is this” to the entire country’s favorite person just like that.
Peña exemplifies the epitome of what we should look for in any athlete. Unbelievably talented but his personality and how he handles success shines brightly over and above his talent and should become the standard for athletes across all sports. As good as this kid is at baseball, he is equally humble, has no ego and at his age handles himself better than any experienced superstar I have ever seen. He was truly an all around MVP.
Probably not. First of all, back then nobody was building Fast Crew SUPPLY Vessels. They were all small crew boats. While I was not around the business back then, I suspect that there was nothing real special to separate the builders and their respective vessels, and if there was, it is doubtful that Neville had it . . .
