Lots of posts about a simple travel budget decision. Just seems like overkill.

I’m not completely against the travel plans given the purpose is to get back quicker. I just think it’s reasonable to question things. Under a cost benefit analysis, is it worth it to spend money on charter to get athletes back earlier. It’s not an unreasonable ask.

Initially the question was “I thought adding USM would save us travel money”

It will but that is not in reference to football, it’s the other sports. In fact having USM will save the football team money by not having to pay for all the other sports to fly. Ironically, as they say, “football drives the bus” in athletic departments

You have no idea. I used to be able to hold it for 100 miles, or so. Now it's 5 miles max.

Will never understand coaches putting put bulletin board material like this. Also who would you rather lose to/beat Louisiana or Lafayette?

How is this bulletin board material? Some of the UL athletes refer to UL as UL Lafayette and ULL. Some folks have said it over and over on this site at freshman orientation it should be drilled into everyone's head that we are UL only.

It's the right word because in the future "underscore challenged" will have the exact same meaning as the discarded word has today, and will forever have to be changed again and again simply because definitions are defined by everyday experiences not by the sound the word makes.

Well let someone use the R word in my presence and they will get punched in the mouth. Special needs is a much better word.
