    1) because you drive somewhere you expect the team to drive? Makes zero sense

2 But you could just drive to Houston or New Orleans and catch the same flight or even take a bus right? But isn’t it nice when you fly home and you are in Lafayette? And don’t have to Hop skip and jump 3.5 hours from Houston? And that’s not after playing a football game.

    1) That is 100% not what I'm saying.

    2) If Hattiesburg were a flight change on their way to ODU, I,would recommend flying out of Lafayette.

If Hattiesburg is the destination I recommend driving. Even more so if I happened to be a passive passenger.

If driving a 100 people To Hattiesburg is easier than flying them, you drive them no matter what.

I would drive too but not with a 100 people.

Flying allows them to get back for class Friday

Now I get your point about canceling Friday classes.

  5. UL Football Louisiana football at Southern Miss: Score prediction, scouting report

While Southern Miss is a newcomer to the Sun Belt Conference and its West Division, the Louisiana-USM matchup is nothing new.

The two have met 21 times, most of those coming during the 1980s, but only four times since 1999. The Golden Eagles hold a 17-4 mark against the Ragin' Cajuns all-time.

  6. UL Football UL’s first Sun Belt face-off against Southern Miss starts exciting rivalry

UL coach Michael Desormeaux doesn’t have many memories of Southern Mississippi.

As a player, the one recollection is a night he’d like to forget — a 51-21 loss in Hattiesburg as Hurricane Gustav approached in 2008

here is a good USM podcast done by student's, one is my daughters boyfriend. Nice to hear them being respectful and giving well thought out analysis of both teams. It might be a good listen while driving over for the game.

People who have no idea of the actual budget, logistics, discussions before hand, or really anything all pertaining to this probably could just trust that Brian Maggard maybe, just maybe, knows what the ____ he is doing here.

Or we can question spending decisions because we help fund the athletic dept. Thats quite the “USL attitude” many on here talk about. Don’t question just donate

Honest question: what percent of our student body and what percent of Acadiana do y’all think even realizes there’s a game tonight?
