He also threw a few away on purpose. Not sure why there isn't a stat to account for this as there seems to be a stat line to account for everything else on planet Earth. But having the good sense to throw the ball away in a situation when you have no chance to make anything good happen should not be counted against a QB.

Definitely a big reason for the pristine 5/0 stat.

He was pulled to give the other qb’s some experience.

    We don’t do that here. Back to a 2 QB system . . .

I think he has the best arm we have seen in a Cajun uni in a while.

  6. UL Football Defense's perfection on third down aided in Cajuns' blowout victory

No, UL’s defense wasn’t thrilled with certain portions of the Cajuns’ 38-18 win over Arkansas State on Saturday.

The sore spot was out of the blue giving up 118 yards passing on three completions over two drives in the second quarter

You’re not supposed to know this. You’re just a fan.

I think Foote reads this board...

Speaking of fans, I can’t wait for Jay to come on & tell us when we can know that Ben is starting to develop.

Ben's performance makes us can't help but wonder why he was made the backup quarterback at the beginning of the season.

    History made that happen.

Would love to know more about how Napier got Ben to transfer to UL. Remindes me of "Sunshine" Ron Bass from Remember the Titans...California to Virgina. Sunshine Ben...

BTW, there is indeed a Sunshine Ron Bass...I worked with him in South Carolina. He hates that Sunshine name...played college ball and set records at USC.
