For decades, the UL football program rarely received production from alumni of Acadiana High.
For the last six seasons, however, safety Bralen Trahan has left a mark on the football program that no one around it will soon forget.

We need more of the elite local talent suit up for the Cajuns. Not every all district player, but the elite ones.
I remember when HUD landed his helicopter on the baseball field at STM to attend a football game there amongst two local teams . . . the dust was everywhere . . .
We need a half dozen Louisiana Ragin’Cajun helicopters to aid in recruiting and branding
Great write up by Kevin on a great football player. I don't know if the NFL will give him the opportunity to prove himself, but I'd love to see this guy wearing black & gold one day. And I hope UL has the good sense to add his name to their wall of fame one day.
You can see him wearing BLACK on Saturday . . .
Bralen Trahan is one of my favorite Cajun defensive players of all time. It's a pleasure getting to watch him play for us every week.
I just read Bralen's goodbye to coaches, teammates and fans. I certainly enjoyed seeing him play for the Cajuns even though he was a Ram.
Any ideas on his NFL future? Is he a draft choice or a FA? Is he playing in any all star games?
