I have no problem with what you just posted. But nothing in your post included degrading the fans for stating their opinions on an obvious situation which he loves to do & has been enjoying for decades now. As I said in the original post I think he's one of the best that ever was at doin the job he does. But that is only coming from a low life unclean Oil mining scumbag of a "fan". The guy treats the fans as though they are nothing more than booger eating morons. Where is that in his job description?

this should not be news. jay has always taken every chance to talk down to fans. but i dont get mad because he is what he has always been. a pompous jerk. but he is a good broadcast and he loves the cajuns so i tolerate it when i need to. he does have an odd hatred toward our fans though that is obvious

The fact is Jay made some very disparaging remarks toward the fans this morning which were more than likely directed at me by lumping every single fan into one box. Then when I called to attempt to engage him in a discussion, he refused to talk about it like a man. Instead he simply sat there & did everything he could to feed the narrative that once again he was just oh so smart & above the fray of actually having to defend himself from the uneducated fans.

I've only been around him once or twice, but got the same feeling about him as you described in your post.

He is very good on broadcasts, but not as good as Ron Gomez.

If I were Jay with his attitude toward the fan base? I wouldn't want to take a call from anyone but CajunsMike. There's a solution to that. Don't get on the radio & talk about ignorant fans who have no recall whatsoever beyond what they saw read, or heard 5 minutes ago & sit there like you have the moral high ground for twenty minutes to pass the time of day, then refuse to take a call from one the few people you were targeting with your half truth based criticisms. If your too good to play in the sand box don't get in & kick the sand around for 20 minutes on someone else's dime.
