In Mike's defense, he did say he was still waiting on the trainers report when he mentioned he hoped Chandler could be the backup this week. I presume he received it prior to Jay making his post. Probably talked about this about at the Monday media get together. If he is not ready to go Saturday, I would be surprised if he is ready for USM as that game is a week from Thursday. I listened to most of the interview with Scott this morning but don't recall what was said about Chris Smith.
