I haven’t been to a concert in ages, but I’ll be seeing the Wallflowers in December. I have a feeling that’ll be a good show!

I think Journey and Toto would be cool to see too, as “Don’t Stop Believin’” used to be my favorite song when I was younger.

We only stayed a couple hours yesterday. Saw Chubby Carrier, Kevin Naquin and Lost Bayou Ramblers.

Really wanted to see Lost Bayou Ramblers, conflicted with Cedric. Always been impressed with those guys...

An interesting factoid no one will care about....Since we are on the subject of Cajun music. Rufus Jagneaux of famed Opelousas Sostan is MAT and I's coozan.

So funny story about them. I met some family members of the band a few years ago in Church Point. None of their names were Rufus or Jagneaux. They had generic last names, but they wanted the band to have a Cajun name. One of them knew a Jagneaux and thought the name sounded cool. Made up Rufus Jagneaux and it stuck.

LoL! Yep, they were Graeff's, I believe.

No, which is why I'm passing. Most modern versions are basically cover bands with a few members unfortunately.

Benny Graeff? My wife worked with him on Johnny Allens book about history of Cajun music

I saw Journey twice in the '80s. So I will be passing on a $75-100+ karaoke band. I know some bands changed the lead singer, who is good still, but I could not tell you one song the new Journey sings that is not a Steven Perry song.

My opinion of Toto is they are one of the most overrated bands of all time. I know that is not a popular opinion, and some will want to fight me. But I am a lover, not a fighter.
