Dang I miss Fenroy. Hope we have another one like him coming in next year.
I don't think the offensive line will get much better in some positions at this point. The experience will be great for Thomas, Gillie, Harrington and Jackson going in to next season.
Outside of a healthy Chris Smith, I don't think the RB position will help improve the offensive line either. The backs simply don't have the ability to make defenders miss in space or make something out of nothing. That is where we greatly miss Johnson and Bailey.
I think last night showed the formula to victory for this team going forward. Good game management and leadership from the QB in getting the football to your playmakers, running game by committee including the QB, aggressive defense up front, good special teams and opportunistic in creating turnovers.
It sounds like a lot, but frankly we have lost too much talent on the offensive side of the football outside of the WR and TE position to improve much more this season. Execution is the key and less penalties.
