Would Louisiana Tech consider being a branch campus of Texas A&M??

This thought occurred to me while I was reading the Kennesaw State to C-USA thread. LTU fans seem to have a much stronger affinity to the state of Texas than to the state of Louisiana. So why not sever ties with the current university system they are in and join a Texas-based one instead. I see lot$ of po$itives with this $etup for Louisiana Tech, namely money. TAMU actually gets something out of deal as well- a campus in another state.

What do LTU fans and Texas A&M fans think about this idea?,,
