I'm all for equality and nondiscrimination. However, the more the left tries to "shove this shat down our throats", the more resistant I think many people are getting!

Diversity is already all around us everyday! Stop with all the the references to Black Life Matters, Mexican Americans, African Americans, White Privilege, People of Color, the LGBTQXYZ nonsense, etc...!!!! How about just referring to everyone as Americans!!!!!!!!!! (except those who are here illegally and therefore are illegal aliean's)

    I'm sick of this nonsense.

It seems to be big business if your a DEI consultant, or high paid University administrator.

My son is paying $6,000 grand to attend for his first semester. Luckily he is in the right major to get a job. Some will graduate with no knowledge or skills!

I am not sure what knowledge or skill is needed to get ahead after reading and understanding this post . . .

Therein lies the issue. Get too good/big, harder for Martin Hall to control. I’m becoming more jaded by the day. And I’m pretty sure I’m not alone.

The “stadium renovation”…is quickly becoming either an “I’ll believe it when I see it” or “how many corners are getting cut” situation with me. Seems everything else is going down the toilet at the same time. I’ve seen pretty much this exact movie before with the RCC. I hope I’m wrong, and I’m sure some sunshine pumper will tell me. Don’t bother, I don’t need carbon monoxide inflating my colon.

Other than slapping donors names on things at CF, nothing significant has happened since the drive for the renovation started. And IN GENERAL, the products on the field/court/pitch are becoming accepted mediocre.

Can’t even get a freaking mascot. Too darn worried about feelings…having a diversified mascot. Can’t pull the trigger on that, it explains the game day experience misfires and the stadium. Heck, get a cypress tree for a mascot. Works great for Stanford. Of course, a tree with no nuts not to hurt feelings.

    Lead darn it! Somebody, please!
    Excellent post sir.

I always believed diversity occurred naturally on University campus.

If anyone gets the ULs newsletters, you can plainly see there is more emphasis on lgbtq issues and agenda than Conservative and Christians values on campus. Is this university turning into the Berkeley of Louisiana.

Ah, it is not just an UL issue. If you want government research money, you must play the game.

Speaking of money...wonder if LCG can throw a few mill or so over to UL out of that 85 million they received from the feds? Probably not, but IT DOES NOT HURT TO ASK.

Are you referencing the $81 million, half of which is currently being withheld by the state due to MP Guillory/Rigid/Ile fed Cannes shenanigans?

Maybe UL can rent some heavy machinery from Josh’s newly incorporated rental LLC to get on his good side.

This is where my loyalty to this school could end.

If there is any university in the region that is proudly anti-woke and pro-American, my kids and my money will go there.

I don't care if that is McNeese or lsubr, some things are deal breakers, and this is.

Diversity is great, but it is this same diversity that is the cause of the lack of student involvement at the UL football and basketball games. These diversified students could care less about the athletics at UL. Maybe if it was soccer (or futbol), they would participate more, but American sports is a bore to them.

So it may be great that we just had one of the largest freshman class in school history, but if we can't these students to be a part of the entire school experience, ie football and basketball, then we will continue to have mediocre attendance. It all starts with the students that will roll over to alumni attending.

I believe it to be a direct correlation.

Let me say it like this: if you are letting this nothing of a story work you in to a tizzy, remember that the next time you are about to call someone else a snowflake.

    Yeah, this x100.

I got way bigger things to worry about.

Like Burton starting a center, Washington getting more touches, and only one quarterback playing tonight.

If you're secure with you, you'll be fine. I have confidence in y'all as people. Y'all should too.
