I agree 100%. That along with the step by step process of of an off-season program creates the finished product. It’s amazing the amount of people that don’t see the correlation of receivers dropping all the balls they have. The stupid undisciplined penalties like the personal foul and ejection are all products of going soft and being a friend and not that disciplinarian that the players fear and need for that matter. Billy learned from Nick Sabine one of the best all time. His players make very few stupid mistakes because they fear the consequences. You got to have that element.
Yes. I did. But don’t stop there. Keep listening until the end and see why that description of who that teammate was now has him puzzled as to what that teammate as a coaches team is doing. Basically his current team is not reflective of the player and leader the coach was in the locker room as a teammate.
