Hold up.. hold up hold up hold up.... HOLD UP

Did anyone read that thread again????

Mr. "You can't go after kids" was hollering at our players?? Mr. "MAT is a bully" was being a bully?? Mr. "Arbiter of morality" was having a shouting match with player parents??? Mr. "Ragin Review is embarrassing this university" was EMBARRASSING THIS UNIVERSITY????

HOLY ____ the hypocrisy! Grant Fleming (and his Dad) was a real one. Could not fathom arguing with those dudes.

Just remember folks, when people try too hard, it's usually for fraudulent reasons.

The stupid undisciplined penalties like the personal foul and ejection are all products of going soft and being a friend and not that disciplinarian that the players fear and need for that matter. Billy learned from Nick Sabine one of the best all time. His players make very few stupid mistakes because they fear the consequences. You got to have that element.
    Truth.

We sat by Grant's family. Nice people. Grant was awesome. He could have played anywhere.

Grant was a competitor and a leader in that locker room. I wish he would've had some eligibility left for the 2011 season so he could've experienced that NOLA Bowl win as a player.

I concur. It is amazing how much people don't understand how much the offseason process affects the in game discipline and mistakes. If you ever listen to Nick Saban he always talks about the process when talking about his successes. This is a very complex game that not everyone gets the big picture.

I watched lots of games with CBN. I’ve never seen him dress down players in the heat of battle. I often considered his steadfast demeanor good compared to some other coaches who become unglued.

Just finished listening to the interview with Andre, it sounds like they realized they weren't playing with a passion and want to start having fun again (without going through the motions)

Andre Jones said on the pod that we weren't quite playing up to our potential, and they were ready to turn it around. Last night was a good start.
