You remember when the AAC almost added SDSU and Boise and became a truly Nation-wide, Best of the Rest conference?

That is now the Big-12. The blue bloods of the Big-12 have to be looking towards the PAC-12 as their savior. I think the PAC will eventually take most, if not all of the original public Big-12 schools. No way they take any Christian schools.

And, the Big-12 will continue to be the Best of the Rest Conference.

Last few things I've read is the B10 is still kicking the tires on inviting Washington, Oregon, Stanford, and Cal. But maybe at less revenue sharing for first few years. If that's the case Arizona, Arizona St., Utah, Colorado move to B12 leaving Oregon St. and Washington St. behind.

The SBC looks pretty stable right now. Still don't see the wisdom in most of AAC's recent invites. SMU, USF, and Memphis can't be too happy. CUSA will experience more convulsions on the way to small time.

Disagree. If the Big10 double dips with those schools, you'll see the exception to Christian schools crumble in the PAC. The remaining PAC schools could easily bring in all the current Big-12 schools to make a nice 14 team league. They could even forego WVU in favor of BYU to make it more compact.

I hear what you're saying, however the PAC 12 currently has the stability questionmark issues. The B12 (after TXOK) is in decent shape relative to the PAC 12. Frankly, with the new CFB format there's every incentive for the PAC 12 and Big 12 to carry on separately in some form or fashion. Maybe its as simple as the PAC12 rebuilds by cherry picking some of the top MWC schools? IDK. . .

Every conference not named SEC or Big10 has stability issues.

Think like you're Texas Tech or Oklahoma State. You would be sitting there, looking at the new landscape, thinking that you could either be in a conference with Arizona and Arizona State or Central Florida and Cincinnatti.

Let’s get some facts here. Ohio State at this time has put the brakes on taking Washington and Oregon. Also the PAC 12 is still on open market for its new TV deal. Nothing is going to happen until the latter is decided. There have been written articles about this from many in the know.

That’s a chicken and egg issue lafitte. They’re not giving big bucks until they have an idea of whose going to be on the networks.

Don't discount Kennesaw State. An R2 University with 41K students. Their growth has been explosive and their location just north of Atlanta is a huge advantage. I've been following them for a number of years after a family member attended there. They have big aspirations and the means to accomplish them.

their 41k students is fools gold obtained through a merger. in the end KSU gets no traction in greater Atlanta for athletics. which athletics is the subject matter at hand. they will help with baseball. seems cusa wants to be a good baseball league. cusa is a sad mess. glad to see it.

Georgia State 2.0. Their football stadium doesn’t even seat 10k.
