if you go to other towns you will find stores dedicated to to school gear. If enough people are not happy with the offerings on campus then a store dedicated to cajuns gear would work. We moved our youngest to MSU this past weekend and there were several stores that sold nothing but MSU gear. We didn't go to the bookstore or on campus to set her up with some school gear we went to one of those stores that had good selection. And Barnes and Noble run the store there and at USM where my oldest is so the bookstore getting taken over seems to be an extensive thing

The military has a somewhat recent movement to wear RED on Fridays, to support the troops. I know Cajun fans already do this. It means RED: Remember Everyone Deployed. We should do a survey to see if other universities also wear red on Fridays (if their color is red) and which either wear red, wear their color or don't have any plan for fridays.... for the one's that wear other than red on Fridays maybe we could present them with the information and see if they would be willing to support the troops and forego "their color" for just one day a week!

There will be a fan store in the new Cajun Field. Hopefully it’s open year round and not just game day. We went to one when we visited Oregon. It was in their IPF and it was huge.

Fast forward to a couple of months ago, and we went in again. Young lady asked us if we found what we were looking for. I can’t express my disappointment. Not mean regressive just an emotional disappointment.

When we walked outside, my wife commented “that was the same young lady as last time.”

I couldn’t see her to recognize her.

My wife said the look on her face acknowledged that she heard me. Kind of felt bad on the drive home.

Hopefully some effort has been put into the merchandising
It ain't any better. I went this week. Not even an adidas polo in there. Asked if they would be getting the sideline polos this year and girl looked me like a deer in headlights.

The first problem to recognize is they’re clerks not salesmen. The second is they make zero decisions in whatever management chooses to put in.

I thought we were an Adidas school? Why is there a Nike check?

A failure from the jump. We're not a Nike school. His LSU/Nike bias has obviously carried over.
Kansas and TAMU are two of Adidas' "top schools" and they have dedicated Adidas apparel sections in their bookstores. Sure they have generic (more affordable) Champion/Gildan brand apparel in their bookstore section, but there isn't a single Nike or Under Armour item for sale in either part of the store.
